Android Apps For Blind

Google with its project, Android, and indeed in all his projects, what more is to satisfy users looking for creating technologies usable by all, proving that today we present two new applications, Android dedicated to the blind.

WalkyTalky Explorer and Intersection

The first of these applications is called WalkyTalky, capable of setting an address to reach and guide you to your destination. In addition to following the voice path, marked every important address that is passed along the way, in order to track a given path more easily remembered.

The second application is instead Intersection Explorer, once started on the screen shows a complete map of the area where it finds us, marking the location of the user at the center by touching anywhere will instantly receive information about the route to follow to reach the target touched. In practice, it is a kind of Street View Voice. Whenever the time you reach a crossroads on the map is issued a vibration.

With this app platform Android is enriched by two other useful tools that combined with Google Maps and Walking Directions, are a great way to explore the most of their routes, all this even for the blind.
