IPad Survey: One Third of iPad Owners has never downloaded any App
After the declaration of Steve Jobs as it clarifies how the iPad is a new model for computing the same way as netbooks, we continue with a survey regarding the use of this device.
AppStore is truly a competitive advantage?
A new survey by the Nielsen Company conducted on 5000 users iPad, shows that one third of the owners of the Tablet California, has never downloaded an application. Quite a surprise when you consider that a iPad App is really without a single factor.
The pie chart shows how, in fact, the majority of the owners of iPad have already paid for content and are 63% of the total, while 32% of the owners of iPad told “not to download any app, compared with a 5% , which downloads only free applications only.
The Nielsen survey seems to suggest that perhaps the ‘ AppStore is the competitive edge that Apple considers it to be - third seems a surprisingly high number, especially considering that the applications are so easy to buy, since you only need to register iTunes Store to get started.
Less surprising is the distribution of paid downloads – the games are the best choice, with 62% of respondents who have bought at least one, followed by books (54%) and music (50%).
How about this poll?
